Colonel Bobby Lee is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was commissioned through the OCS Platoon Leaders Course Combined program in October 2002. Upon completion of The Basic School, he reported to Infantry Officer's Course and was designated an infantry officer.

Lieutenant Colonel Dennis A Dunbar is a native of Monmouth, New Jersey and enlisted in the Marine Corps reserves in 2000.
Sergeant Major Jacobsen is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on September 4, 2002 and attended recruit training at MCRD Parris Island. Following Marine Combat Training at School of Infantry-East (SOI-East) aboard Camp Geiger, North Carolina, Private First Class Jacobsen attended his Military Occupational School (MOS) in Aberdeen, Maryland and earned the 2111 (Small Arms Repairman) MOS. He was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal in April 2003 and he was subsequently assigned to Marine Corps Security Force Company, Bahrain. While assigned to Marine Corps Security Force Company, Lance Corporal Jacobsen participated in numerous exercises in the United States Central Command theater.
