Afghanistan - Lance Cpl. Frank Young, squad automatic weapon gunner, Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, provides security for the rest of the Marines in his squad as they prepare to clear a compound from enemy forces, April 17, 2012. The Marines and sailors with Charlie Company took part in a month long operation where they cleared the Gostan valley of enemy forces.
